Mr. and Mrs. S'more
Craft this cute couple of s’mores to help say “Hello” to the fun fall season and keep you company as you tell ghost stories around the campfire.
Supplies:
Piece of corrugated cardboard (at least 5” square)
Scrap of brown felt or fabric (at least 3” x 6”)
8 large cotton balls
Small amount of white air-dry clay
Black and red markers
Ruler
Pencil
Push-pin
Scissors
White glue

Here's How:
2| Then, use a ruler and pencil to measure and draw four 2 ½” x 2 ½” squares onto the cardboard.
3| Cut all four squares out with scissors and then use a push-pin to poke the pattern of a graham cracker into one side of two squares. (Look at a real cracker for reference).
4| Next, hold one of the squares on top of the scrap of felt and use scissors to loosely cut around the outside of the cardboard; repeat once to make a second piece of “melted chocolate.”
5| Then, use white glue to attach 4 cotton ball “marshmallows” to the top of two plain cardboard “graham crackers.” Glue the two pieces of felt on top next and then finish the assembly by gluing the patterned squares of cardboard on top of each s’more.
6| Fashion tiny eyes and mouths with the air dry clay, and allow them to harden a few minutes before adding color and details with markers. (Or, simply used colored clay.)
7| Finish the faces by gluing the features on the fronts and say “Hi” to the tasty-looking little campsite mascots!

More Ideas:
• Make spooky s’mores by adding witches hats or fangs and other monster features.
• Place the s’mores onto printed paper napkins for an extra-special occasion.
• Instead of using clay, use googly eyes or make their eyes and mouth with paper.
• Think of names for the crafted characters.
• Add clay or paper feet and arms or accessories like a little hat or bow-tie.
• Make one s’more to represent each family member.
• Try using cardboard, paper and craft supplies to create other food friends, like silly sandwiches (BLT Buddy perhaps), burgers or slices of pizza.
• Make real s’mores and add faces made of candy
• This makes a great craft for a BBQ party or even to pack up and make on an actual camping trip!
