Cotton Ball Cupcake Bunny

This cupcake bunny is cute, but it's not to eat—it's made of cotton balls and a little creativity!

Supplies:
4 cupcake liners
Large cotton balls
White glue
Small scraps of pink paper, foam or felt
1 pink pom-pom
Scrap of pink yarn
2 googly eyes
Scissors

Here’s How:

1.) Stack four cupcake liners for the base of the bunny.
2.) Use white glue to adhere four cotton balls to the bottom of the liners to fill it.
3.) One at a time, apply glue to cotton balls and press them onto the others to form a head. Make sure to glue four to the front—two for the cheeks and two for the eyes.
4.) Carefully stretch out two cotton balls to make ears, and glue them to the top of the head.
5.) Cut two skinny ovals from pink paper, foam or felt, and adhere them to the front of the ears.
6.) For the nose and mouth, simply glue on a pom-pom and two short lengths of yarn.
7.) To finish the friendly face, attach two googly eyes of any size.

More ideas:
• Adults can pre-cut the pieces for the ears and mouth so they are ready for little kids to glue on.
• Craft ears from black felt to make a sheep instead of a bunny.
• Use white pom-poms instead of cotton balls.
• Use colored pom-poms to create animals besides bunnies.
• Shop for googly eyes with pastel colored irises, lids and/or eyelashes.
• Instead of a pom-pom, use a button or felt circle for the nose.
• Use winter or Christmas cupcake liners and then fill them with cotton ball snowmen or Santas.
