hot diggity dog brownie

Hot Diggety Dog Brownies

Inspired by backyard barbecues, these treats are fun to make for any outdoor event.

Makes 18–24

Ingredients
One bag or box of brownie mix
Ingredients required on brownie package (e.g. eggs, oil, water)
Hot Tamales candies
White decorator icing
One container chocolate frosting
Orange sugar sprinkles
24 silver baking cups

Directions
Prepare brownie mix in a large bowl according to the directions on package. Line a cupcake pan with silver baking cups. Pour the batter into each cup, about two-thirds full, and bake according to package directions. Cool completely.

To decorate, use white decorator icing to make 4–5 “grill lines” across the top of each brownie. Apply orange sugar sprinkles to the top of each one. Use a dinner knife or toothpick dipped in chocolate frosting to make 3–4 “grill lines” on each Hot Tamales candy. Place three Hot Tamales on each brownie to look like hot dogs.
