FREE North Park Valentine's Day Skate Party. Feel the love with a day of community, skating and fun! FREE Hearts of Carlsbad Village. Enjoy a full week of experiences in an "all-new" format designed to bring people together in downtown Carlsbad. A total of 600 hand-blown glass hearts will be hidden and distributed over a one-week period with unique opportunities to explore Carlsbad Village, support local businesses and share kindness. Throughout the week, during normal business hours, 250 handcrafted glass hearts (35 per day) made by Barrio Glassworks will be "hidden in plain sight" around Carlsbad Village. The celebration continues on Valentine’s Day with a free village-wide scavenger hunt. FREE Hearts of Carlsbad Village Scavenger Hunt. Each scavenger hunt lasts about 90 minutes and will include touring the Village, searching for clues, solving riddles and posting on social media. Keep an eye on the Carlsbad Village Association website and social media for the registration link. There will be 250 scavenger hunt cards available. Each correct scavenger hunt card can be redeemed for a handcrafted glass heart. Rules and sign-up regulations will apply. Valentine’s Themed Dine with Orcas. Enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner alongside majestic orcas for a truly extraordinary celebration. Indulge in a special chef-crafted menu featuring a carving station, a variety of salads, fresh fruits, delectable sweet treats and more.
