🎃 Families Enjoy a Fang-Tastic Day at San Diego Family’s Halloween Fun Fest

FFFH HeaderPage sm

Over 1,400 guests gathered for a spook-tacular good time on Sunday, October 19 at The Salvation Army Kroc Center Corner Zone for San Diego Family’s annual Halloween Family Fun Fest! From toddlers dressed as Baby Sharks to teens channeling K-Pop Demon Hunters, guests enjoyed a morning filled with smiles, laughter and community spirit.

The Kroc Center Corner Zone provided the perfect backdrop for families to gather, play and celebrate fall together. The event featured trick-or-treating, costume contests, inflatables, Halloween crafts and other frightfully fun surprises, all completely free for attendees. Parents and kids also had the chance to stop by our not-so-spooky vendor booths to connect with businesses offering valuable family services and resources.

Kids especially enjoyed visiting booths from The Super Dentists, High Tech High and Maraya Performing Arts, among many others who brought games, prizes and laughter to the crowds.

We’re so grateful to the many wonderful vendors who helped make the day special. A big thank you to our event sponsor, Community Health Group for their continued support in helping families access the health care they need to thrive.

In the spirit of giving, attendees also supported Monarch School students and families by donating brand-new Halloween costumes. Each donation added even more fun to the festivities and helped spread a little extra magic to children in need.

If you missed the Halloween celebration, don’t worry! Our next Family Fun Fest is coming up in February 2026 and it’s going to be another incredible day of family fun, community connection and laughter. Tell your friends and neighbors and plan to join us for more San Diego Family fun!
