If you’re in your fifth or sixth month of pregnancy (or know someone who is), this checklist from @mommy.labornurse may be helpful. It's a list of suggested classes to take, things to plan for and tasks to complete during the third trimester of pregnancy so parents feel more prepared and organized when baby arrives.

circle  Take a breastfeeding class 

circle  Pre-register with your hospital/birth center

circle  Choose a pediatrician 

circle  Prepare for maternity leave 

circle  Choose childcare for when you return to work 

circle  Wash baby clothes and linens

circle  Stock dresser and changing stations 

circle  Sanitize and clean baby gear

circle  Stock up on postpartum essentials 

circle  Finalize baby name

circle  Clean, declutter and organize your home

circle  Finish decorating baby’s nursery 

circle  Order a breast pump 

circle  Schedule newborn photos

circle  Make or purchase healthy freezer meals 

circle  Pack your hospital bag 

circle  Install baby’s car seat, read the manual and practice using it 

circle  Make plans for childcare/pet care for when you deliver 

circle  Know the signs and stages of labor (and when to call your healthcare provider)

circle  Plan a date night (it may be the last one for a little while!)

circle  Rest up
