One of the awesome things about living in San Diego is there is NO shortage of fun things to do...especially during summer! We took a poll around the office of must-do activities with your family this summer (we're calling it our "sand bucket" list). Here are our suggestions!
1. Build a sandcastle
2. Go tide pooling
3. Ride a wooden roller coaster at the beach
4. Make homemade ice cream
5. Have a lemonade stand
6. Pitch a tent in the backyard
7. Explore a local canyon
8. Have "kids make dinner" night (more than once!)
9. Take the ferry to Coronado
10. Visit a goldmine in Julian
11. Do something nice for a neighbor
12. Snorkel or swim with the leopard sharks in La Jolla
13. Catch a drive-in movie in Southbay or Santee
14. Attend a free summer concert
15. Participate in a summer reading program
16. Make s'mores
17. Go fishing
18. Make root beer floats
19. Bike down the Coronado strand
20. Watch a big screen movie under the stars
21. Visit a farmer's market
22. Go surfing or boogie boarding...or learn how
23. Have a sunset picnic on the beach
24. Take a tour of Petco Park before a Padres game
25. Watch a sunrise
26. Visit the San Diego County Fair
