The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch. Experience 50 “Acres of Awesome” in this floral paradise where vibrant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers adorn the rolling hillsides, and the fields are blazing with roses, orchids, sweet pea blossoms and a greenhouse full of poinsettias. Naturally WILD. Encounter new animals, hands-on exhibits and activities where you can learn about wildlife and how critters thrive and survive in their natural habitats. Speed: Science in Motion. Explore the technology behind everything fast at this new interactive exhibit where you can take a closer look at the fastest jets, planes, rockets, cars, motorcycles, boats and bicycles in the world. East Village Opening Weekend Block Party. Celebrate Opening Day at Petco Park while exploring East Village.
