    The San Diego Aviators, featuring Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., native Taylor Fritz, will open the 43rd season of World TeamTennis Presented by GEICO on Sunday, July 15, 2018 against the Springfield Lasers at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.
 Fritz, currently ranked No. 69 in the ATP World Tour singles rankings, will make his second appearance of the season for the Aviators on Monday, July 16, against the visiting Philadelphia Freedoms. 
 The Aviators 2018 roster also includes Naomi Broady and Marcus Willis from Great Britain, along with doubles specialists Anna-Lena Groenefeld of Germany and Marcin Matkowski of Poland.
 This season, the Aviators are “Amplifying” the fan experience with planned theme nights, nightly giveaways, new food vendors, happy hours, live music and an interactive Kids Zone located next to Stadium Court.
 One of the Theme Nights on the 2018 schedule is Military and First Responders Night on Monday, July 23 when the Aviators take on their Southern California rival, the Orange County Breakers.
 Discounted tickets will be available to members of the Military and First Responders. On July 16 and July 28, tennis fans can arrive early at the matches and enjoy a special “Happy Hour” with live music and discounted drinks. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on those dates.
 Monday, July 30 has been designated “Members Night” as members of the United States Tennis Association and San Diego County Tennis Club will be recognized. All USTA members and tennis club members are encouraged to attend and can receive a discount on tickets for that evening’s match against the New York Empire.
 The GEICO Gecko, one of America's favorite advertising icons, will make guest appearances at home matches on July 23, July 28 and August 2.
